Our client has an excellent record of creating innovative and exciting exhibitions within the trade and consumer sectors and they currently run over 20 per year at locations around the UK. As part of their ongoing success story they are about to launch a new show and seek to recruit a sales team to promote it. A key role within the sales team will be Exhibition Sales Manager.
The role of Exhibition Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and motivating a small exhibition sales team. A 'hands on role' this will involve leading by example promoting this new exhibition to clients across the UK and securing new sales revenue. This will involve targeting an existing client database as well as identifying new potential clients to promote the features and benefits of the show to and give them compelling reasons to attend and exhibit! As the senior member of the team you will be involved in all aspects of exhibition management, which will also require the occasional attendance at some of the events you are selling which may involve occasional weekend work. We seek a proven Sales professional ideally with a track record of sales success within the exhibition, advertising or similar media type sales environment who is looking to further their career within a fast paced and dynamic working environment. Whatever your background you will be happy to cold / warm call, build databases, meet clients face to face and do extensive market research.
