Our client a leading professional body they seeks to strengthen their marketing team by recruiting a Marketing Co-Ordinator. Established over 10 years ago they represent IT training professionals and are now recognised as the leading authority throughout the UK and Europe on IT training and development. As the company seeks to strengthen its Marketing function they seek to add a Marketing Co-Ordinator to the team. As the sole marketing specialist within the team you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, this will include: writing press releases and press liaison ensuring exposure in both industry and local/national press; creation of online/offline marketing materials (brochures, case studies, e-newsletters), management of 5 websites (updating/driving traffic), assisting with annual events (Awards dinner/Conference/exhibiting at trade shows) and supporting clients in marketing their association with the organisation.


The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

• Outstanding copy writing skills (including experience of press release creation)

• Self-motivated and driven, with a strong work ethic

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• Innovative, creative thinker

• Passionate about marketing

• Experience of a broad range of marketing duties

• Impeccably presentable, with a professional profile

• Good understanding of online marketing (via social media/SEO etc.)

• Confident, assured manner for dealing with stakeholders and clients

• Enthusiastic about the opportunity to shape a prestigious organisations future

• Events organisation experience advantageous

• Graphic design skills beneficial

• Competent with MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)

• A good understanding of the learning and development market (including IT Training)
