Manchester based manufacturer of high precision components, part of a world wide group of companies who supply into many sectors including medical devices, electronics, semi-conductor, nuclear, telecommunications & general engineering sectors.
A new Sales Engineer position is being created to support the sales & marketing activities within the UK, developing sales with existing customers & undertaking new business development initiatives. You will be fully involved with technical sales to OEMs in many sectors, covering both technical & commercial liaison at all levels from engineer to director.
We are seeking a good engineering background, possibly a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, looking for career development - you may well be seeking your second career move to join a large international organisation who can offer excellent career development prospects. You will certainly have some customer facing exposure & be comfortable talking to prospective customers - ideally with sales or project engineering experience into OEMs.
This is a new position & as such offers the successful candidate the opportunity to develop the role substantially and to benefit from on-going training & support.
