Our client is seeking a Technical Manager to assist the development of profitable sales of their steel products by providing a technical support service.
Key Responsibilities include:
Communicate with existing and prospective customers to provide technical support and advice in order to promote the companies products.
Provide all sales colleagues with technical information and sales data to maximise sales opportunities.
Provide technical product training as required.
Provide, as part of the marketing team, support in the planning and execution of activities to develop the company's sales.
Submit technical papers to trade press and technical publications.
Investigate technical complaints from customers and provide advise on corrective action.
To apply for this role you should have an engineering qualification coupled with technical experience gained within the steel industry, particularly alloyed steels.
