Business Development Manager / Account Manager - Full Service Agency, 25 - 30,000 basic + comms + bonus

Established nearly twenty years, our client has been providing a full range of design, marketing and new media services to a wide and varied client base. From developing brand names, consumer packaging and corporate literature, to creative marketing campaigns and bespoke website solutions. Most of their work comes from recommendation, but the need to be more proactive and seek new accounts has created the need to recruit a Business Development Manager. The role of Business Development Manager will to report to and work closely with the Managing Director. The primary responsibility of the Business Development Manager is to develop a base of new clients. This will involve making new business calls, attending meetings and preparing pitch/presentation documents. The secondary focus of the role is as an Account Manager - taking responsibility for the ongoing development of self developed client relationships. Account Management will involve client liaison, preparing briefing documentation, brainstorm sessions and liaising with members of the design team. We seek a proven business development manager or account manager ideally with an agency background. You will have a track record of delivering sales pitches, promoting solutions and and winning business. You will also have excellent project management and excellent interpersonal skills.
